What happens if I cannot travel after all because the travel restrictions have been tightened again?

To give you the most flexibility possible, we have introduced our Corona Booking Promise for the upcoming period. If you have booked directly with us, you are able to rebook at any rate up to one day before arrival to another date within the next 12 months from the date of your arrival, free of charge.

I am traveling by bicycle. Where can I store my bike?

We offer every guest who stays with us the opportunity to safely store his or her bicycle free of charge in a parking spot in our video-monitored underground garage. If you bring an e-bike, you can charge it with us.

Can I park my car at your hotel?

As a guest at our hotel, you have the possibility to safely park your vehicle in our video-monitored underground garage for a fee of 9,50 €. During your check-in, you will receive an entry ticket and further information at the reception.

Can I travel to the hotel according to the current situation?

It is now again allowed to accommodate travelers for tourist purposes, regardless of primary or secondary residence. Furthermore, travel that fulfills a mandatory purpose and business trips are still allowed. More detailed information can be found in the currently valid regulation.

I am not sure if I should keep my reservation… how does the hotel take care of my safety?

We assure you that you are 100% safe with us at Hotel zur Börse! To take into account the current situation, we have prepared a comprehensive hygiene concept. You can find all the information here.


Important information about my check-in

Due to the current situation, we have special opening hours for the reception:

We are at your service from 7 AM to 9 PM. Outside these hours, you may reach us anytime by phone at +49 (0)5151 – 94 94 0.

Your room will be available to you from 3 PM on the day of arrival. Should you arrive earlier, it is of course possible to store your luggage safely with us, while you pass the time with a stroll through Hameln’s historic old town, or relax with a refreshment.

After your successful arrival, you can visit us for a well-deserved after-work beer or a delicious meal at the Grand Café täglich.

Important information about my check-out

On the day of departure, your room will be available until 11 AM. Should you wish to depart outside our reception hours, please feel free to contact us. In this case, we will be happy to handle the check-out together with you on the evening before your departure and, of course, answer any questions you may have. You can then conveniently leave your room key in your room.


I have received a voucher as a replacement for a canceled reservation. How can I redeem it?

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for accepting our voucher as a replacement for your booking. By doing so, you have made a great contribution to supporting tourism and the hotel industry in times of Corona!

You can use your voucher at any time during your stay. Simply present the voucher conveniently upon departure and we will validate the appropriate amount. Do I have to redeem a voucher that I have received myself?

You do not have to redeem your voucher yourself. We will be happy to change your booking to another name at no additional charge.

I can’t make my trip and would like to cancel. How do I handle this situation?

Thanks to our Corona Booking Promise, you don’t have to cancel your trip at all. Until further notice, you can change your booking to another date within 12 months of your original arrival date, regardless of the rate you booked, up to one day before arrival, free of charge.

We are happy if you decide to change your booking to another period instead of cancelling. If you still wish to cancel, your cancellation options depend on your cancellation policy and your chosen booking method. These can be viewed on your reservation confirmation. If you chose a non-cancellable rate when booking, please contact us by phone or email.

Please cancel your reservation in the same way you booked. If you made your reservation through, Expedia, a travel agent or other booking platform, they are also your contact for cancellations. If you have any questions about your cancellation options, we are always happy to help.


General arrival information

Do I have to make reservations in restaurants upfront?

There is no general obligation to make reservations in restaurants. Nevertheless, we would be pleased if you would let us know in advance whether you would like to dine with us.

Why is my data taken at the entrance to a restaurant?

In order to be able to trace possible chains of infection, we are obliged to document the name, address and telephone number, as well as the length of stay of our guests and to make this information available to the responsible health authority upon request. Your data will be deleted after a period of 3 weeks.

We recently started using the Luca app for digital documentation, which makes it easier and more convenient for all of us to enjoy the open gastronomy again.

Is there a limit to how many people I can sit at a table with?

How many people you are allowed to sit at a table with always depends on the contact restrictions currently in place. These depend, among other things, on whether you have already been fully vaccinated.

Please feel free to ask our helpful service staff directly in the restaurant or in advance by phone. We will be happy to help.

How is my safety considered when preparing food and beverages?

The preparation of food and beverages has always been subject to strict hygiene regulations that need to be met within the catering industry. In order to take into account the current situation and to be able to guarantee your safety, all our employees wear face masks and the cooks are also obliged to disinfect their hands at regular intervals.

How does your restaurant disinfect and clean?

A basic cleaning of our premises is carried out by our housekeeping each morning. Furthermore, after each guest, surfaces and items available for common use on the tables are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.  We also offer the possibility of accessing a menu with your smartphone via QR code.

Are restaurants and bars open?

We invite you to enjoy your after-work beer at our bar, or take a culinary journey in our restaurant, the Grand Café täglich. From 9 AM to 9 PM during the week and even one hour longer on weekends, we will spoil you with all kinds of delicacies.
