Osterstraße 28 The facade of the Pied Piper House is unique and impressive. In the building you can find a restaurant, where you can see a private collection of artworks. It is considered a secret “Feierabendmuseum” (end of work day museum). Osterstraße 2 Do you already know the legend of the Pied Piper? The wonderful Pied Piper figurine show is a popular carillon on the west gable of the Hochzeitshaus in Osterstraße 2 and it tells this legend in its musical way. Daily at 1.05 PM, 3.35 PM and 5.35 PM.
Osterstraße 8-9 (only 3 minutes walking from Hotel zur Börse Hameln) Here you can learn everything worth knowing about the history of the city of Hameln and its surroundings. The Hameln Museum was completely renovated a few years ago and is now really worth a visit! The focus is, of course, the famous Pied Piper saga. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM
Osterstraße 12 (only 200 m far from Hottel zur Börse) This house is one of the most important Renaissance buildings in the city. In the tail gable, in a diamond-shaped recess, there is a free-standing, plastic envious head. The entrance is flanked by two bay windows (ground-level bay windows). This house was built by councilman Jost Rike in 1576.
Hefehof Hameln Exciting for young and old: the museum of Hameln's automotive history is located on the Hefehof in Hameln and is well worth a visit. Opening hours: Fridays 3 to 6 PM, Saturdays 11 AM to 4 PM
Am Pulverturm 1 / Kastanienwall In the Hameln glassblowing workshop, visitors not only learn all there is to know about the history and technology of glassmaking, but are also allowed to blow their own souvenir out of glass. An experience for the whole family.
